Measure with Precision  : Start by measuring 2 grams of our precious tea for 250 ml of water. Adjust to your preference for a tailored intensity that boosts energy or calms the mind.    

Ideal Temperature  : Heat your water to 85-90°C to achieve perfection. This heat is the secret to revealing the intoxicating aromas of ginger, mango and orange, and to exalt the richness of black tea.  

Controlled Infusion  : Immerse the tea leaves in simmering water and wait 3 to 4 minutes . If you want a bolder flavor, dare to infuse for up to 5 minutes .

Ingredients for 100g of “Homemade” Soleil Carioca Black Tea:

  • Black Tea  : 70g
  • Dried mango  : 10g
  • Dried passion fruit  : 10g
  • Marigold flowers  : 5g
  • Dried ginger  : 5g
  • Orange peels  : 5g
  •  Mango, passion fruit and orange essential oils : a few drops (adjust according to your preferences)

Preparation :

  1. In a large bowl, carefully mix the black tea, dried mango pieces, dried passion fruit, marigold flowers, dried ginger and orange peel.
  2. Carefully add a few drops of mango, passion fruit and orange essential oils to enrich the scent.
  3. Store your mixture in an airtight container, away from light and humidity.
  4. To prepare a cup, use  2 grams  of the mixture per  250 ml  of hot water at  85-90°C  and steep for  3-5 minutes.

  1. Carioca Black Tea Tropical Cocktail

    • Infuse 20g of black tea in 500ml of hot water for 4 minutes.
    • Filter and let cool.
    • In a shaker, mix the infused tea with 100ml of mango juice, the juice of an orange, and 50ml of white rum.
    • Add ice cubes and shake vigorously.
    • Serve in cocktail glasses and garnish with a slice of mango and orange zest.
  2. Spicy Iced Tea

    • Prepare 1 liter of black tea as directed on the package.
    • Add the juice of two oranges and a tablespoon of ginger syrup.
    • Let cool, then serve with ice cubes and pieces of fresh mango.
  3. Exotic Arranged Rum

    • In a large jar, place 200g of dried mango and the zest of an orange.
    • Add 70cl of amber rum and 30g of black tea.
    • Leave to macerate for at least 4 weeks, stirring occasionally.
    • Filter and enjoy in moderation.
  4. Black Tea and Fruit Sorbet

    • Infuse 30g of black tea in 1 liter of hot water for 5 minutes.
    • Filter and add 200g of sugar, the juice of an orange, and 200ml of mango puree.
    • Let cool, then pour into an ice cream maker and follow the instructions for your appliance.
  5. Grill Marinade

    • Mix 250ml of brewed and cooled black tea with the juice of an orange, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and a teaspoon of grated fresh ginger.
    • Use this marinade to marinate chicken or pork before grilling.
