Subtle Profile
A straw-yellow liquor of great floral finesse, balanced by the vegetal freshness of a sweet green tea.
Exquisite Selection
Selected for the freshness of its harvest and the total absence of bitterness, offering a 100% natural scent.
The Jasmine Green Tea selected by Le Comptoir de Toamasina is the very embodiment of floral refinement. Our jasmine tea is made using the ancestral method of infusion by direct contact with real fresh jasmine flowers.
Jasmine flowers are harvested in the afternoon, when the buds are ready to bloom. At nightfall, the flowers open and release their precious fragrance: they are then layered over heated green tea leaves. The tea naturally absorbs the essential oils of the flowers. This operation is repeated several nights in a row to obtain an aromatic balance of rare elegance.
The Art of Jasmine Tea
A great jasmine tea must never mask the quality of its base leaf. We look for a sweet spring green tea, capable of accommodating the sweet power of jasmine without becoming harsh.
In the cup, you will discover a limpid liquor with enchanting notes, as delicious hot after a meal as it is prepared as a refreshing iced tea on warm days.
