Le thé vert japonais est un art subtil qui réserve plein de surprise. Au Japon le thé Bancha est le  deuxième thé le plus bu après le Sencha. Le Thé Japan Bancha est très populaire au Japon, il représente pas loin de 10% de la production nationale.  Il se caractérise par une récolte tardive, les feuilles sont ainsi plus grosses et plus développés que le Sencha.  Le thé est très apprécié au Japon par le fait de ses vertus digestives exceptionnelles. Il va contenir moins de caféine que le Sencha, Kukicha voir le Gyokyro, idéal pour les personnes sensibles à la caféine ou encore en thé du soir. Il remplacera ainsi parfaitement le Rooibos.

Température de l'eau: 75°C

temps d'infusion: 2 à 3 minutes

Les feuilles de thé bancha sont très fragiles, elle s'écrasent et se brisent si on les malmène. Une fois brisées, elles ne diffusent plus leurs saveurs de la même manière. Donc, pour un bon Bancha, n'essayez pas de faire rentrer le thé de force, dans le panier ou la chaussette.

Mettez-le librement dans le réceptacle de la théière ou il pourra infuser facilement.

Versez la quantité d'eau prévue dans la théière. Immergez le réceptacle contenant le thé dans le liquide brûlant. Couvrez, laissez infuser 4 minutes, ouvrez la théière, ôtez le panier et refermez. Servez le Bancha bien chaud, nature bien sûr.
