Brazilian Churrasco Blend
Gaucho BBQ Seasoning

« July 2013: my very first journey to Brazil and discovering authentic Gaucho churrasco. An exceptional spice blend created to elevate picanha, steaks, poultry, and grilled vegetables. »

Gaucho Tradition Rub & Marinade Selection by Arnaud Sion

Gaucho Tradition

The soul of Rio Grande do Sul churrascarias captured in a balanced, warm spice blend.

Total Versatility

Use as a dry rub, long marinade (>24h), or instant seasoning over hot coals.

Aromatic Harmony

Subtle union of smoked paprika, earthy cumin, aromatic garlic, herbs, and black pepper.

In July 2013, during my first trip to Brazil, my future Brazilian wife introduced me to authentic churrasco. In Southern Brazil's Gaucho tradition, barbecue is a culinary art form and a festive lifestyle passed down through generations.

To let you recreate this atmosphere at home, I created **Brazilian Churrasco Spice Blend** for Le Comptoir de Toamasina. It combines smoked paprika, warm cumin, garlic, herbs, and a touch of Sarawak black pepper to form a delicious crust that seals in juicy flavors.

Arnaud Sion's Field Experience in Brazil

Having lived in Brazil for years sourcing spices and superfoods, I trained alongside Gaucho churrasqueiros learning secret meat marinades.

In Brazil, meat is rubbed carefully and left to marinate up to 24 hours to infuse deep into the fibers. Whether on Picanha beef, pork ribs, or chicken, this blend brings genuine Brazilian steakhouse flavor to your table.
